In what will for certain be a highly scrutinized election by historians, Donald Trump has won the 2016 election and will become the 45th President of the United States. By defeating Hillary Clinton, Trump overcame many obstacles - including campaign staff reshuffling, sexual assault allegations, and criticism from within his own party. Although he did not win the popular vote, he was able to secure the victory with a solid Electoral College finish.

Donald Trump will be sworn in as President on Friday, January 20th in what will surely be a media spectacle beyond anything that anyone has seen in their lifetime.
