Seattle Seahawks fans can rejoice knowing that their team won in captivating fashion in the Super Bowl… in an alternate universe. The stadium in Phoenix, Arizona erupted when Marshawn Lynch ran in the game winning touchdown after a magical catch by Jermaine Kearse. The final score of the game was 31-28, and put an end to a tumultuous season for the New England Patriots.
After the game, it was revealed that the Seahawks coaching staff had called in a pass play to quarterback Russell Wilson. However, recognizing that the Patriots defense was well positioned to defend the play, Wilson changed the call at the line of scrimmage.
